About the authors:

Paolo Padoan, a native of Venice, Italy was born in 1964. He worked as a foreign language correspondent, studied Chinese in Berlin and has gathered teaching experience in Italy, the UK, Germany, and Brazil. He is currently working on the development of a new learning method for the Chinese language and Chinese characters.

Dr. phil. Dorothee Dauber was born in 1957 in Stuttgart, Germany. She is an accredited interpreter and translator of Chinese and Italian. Her work experience in Germany, Italy, and Taiwan includes holding workshops, crash courses and language training in Chinese and English, as well as lecturing classical Chinese literature, scientific writing, cultural comparison, and inter-cultural training. www.china-coaching.com
